Jacqueline and Ryan picked a beautiful June day to get married with the Vermont Mountains as the backdrop for their wedding day. While she was growing up, Jacqueline would visit Manchester, Vermont to go skiing with her parents, and eventually became her parent’s new home upon their retirement. So it was no surprise that Jacqueline would want to get married at a place that held happy memories for her.
It was a destination wedding for all for all of their guests, and they were all happy to take a weekend trip to the beautiful green mountains of Vermont! The Kimpton Taconic Hotel was the site of the beautiful Reception. Nancy Bishop Floral Design was the Floral Designer and she installed gorgeous greenery hanging from all of the chandeliers in the ballroom. The hues of blush for the bridesmaids gowns and the florals with the greenery made for a soft romantic look.
Capturing the day through their lenses were Clary Pfeiffer Photography and her team, and Sixpence Productions Cinematographers. The day started out sunny, then a rare thunderstorm rolled through while Jackie was getting ready. By the time it was departure time for the church, the sun broke through the clouds and the rest of the day was just beautiful! Both Clary Pfeiffer and Sixpence did a phenomenal job that day. Their photos and video were amazing!
Jacqueline planned her wedding with us, which took about one year. She was very meticulous sticking to the romantic design and theme she wanted. She incorporated wood in her reception details for the table number number frames were made by a local Vermont artist. In lieu of favors the couple made a donation to the rescue group where their dog Barkley was from. The couple had a card made with this information which was placed at each guest’s seat. Their dog Barkley was also featured as their cake topper with a sign around his neck that said “I Do Too”.
