Most wedding venues require wedding couples to secure a wedding coordinator or planner for their wedding day. And we think this is a great idea! Why? Because the venue manager is in charge of only the venue and your wedding coordinator or planner oversees all of the aspects of the wedding day! There are so many logistical moving parts to a wedding day. It is like a large-scale show! Many vendors come together to create an amazing day for you! They all need to be kept on track, know where and when to be, and have all the necessary tools to complete their jobs. By having a professional coordinator or planner as the point person, you will be able to relax and enjoy your wedding day!
You will be busy getting your hair and makeup done, you don’t have time to check on everyone! Has the cake arrived, did the DJ arrive, how about the officiant, where is he? Stuck in traffic? Leave all of that work to your coordinator/planner! Many couples tell us that they are concerned with the day of logistics and how it will all come together. They want to be focused on celebrating with friends and family, not work on their wedding day!
This wedding we planned and coordinated at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia had many vendors who have worked together before. The end result was a very smooth and seamless wedding day.
When choosing your vendors the best place to look is at the venue’s preferred vendor list or your planner’s preferred vendor list. They both will know from experience who the best vendors are who are reliable, experienced, and perform the best service. Creating a vendor dream team is the key factor to having a successful, stressless wedding day!
