Suburban Elegance: A Classic Johns Creek Celebration
MaryClare and Matt envisioned a personal wedding day rooted in tradition. A beautiful celebration that felt like coming home. Since their families were very good friends and belonged to the same country club, it was a no-brainer when it came to choosing their wedding venue. St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, Georgia, was the beautiful setting for their celebration.

We had the pleasure of planning with them while they were living in Austin, Texas. Zoom meetings, phone calls, and working on our online planning platform made the planning easy and simple for them!

The Seamless Transition
The day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony held at the stunning St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, Georgia. Family members participated in the ceremony with readings and the presentation of the gifts at communion. The newlywed grand exit on the steps of the church included all of the guests waving ribbon streamers with bells on them, waving them at the couple. It was such a joyful moment and a perfect photo op! 

Following the ceremony, the mood shifted to party mode. We coordinated a seamless transfer of the newlyweds, wedding party, and their parents aboard a charming classic white trolley. This provided a private, festive environment for the group to share a fun ride and capture some great photos as they traveled to the country club.

The Destination: A Reception at Home
The wedding reception was held at the heart of their community: St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek. Hosting the celebration at their own club added a layer of intimacy and personalized history. MaryClare had a golf flag personalized with their name on so that they could take photos at the 18th green, and the outcome was pure magic! With and soft breeze, MaryClare's veil was billowing during the perfect photo opportunity!

Our team focused on managing the logistical flow of the wedding day. From the trolley's departure from MaryClare's home to the arrival at the church, and then to the club. We ensured that MaryClare and Matt's vision for their reception was flawlessly coordinated, which allowed them to step off that trolley and straight into a night of fun celebration with the people they love most

Elevated Design & Custom Fashion
The room was adorned with lush, beautiful white florals, rich hydrangeas, and greenery created by Britt Wood Designs. This created a high-end, garden-inspired aesthetic that felt both luxurious and inviting. Candlelight was abundant throughout the room, and specialty patterned linens were placed on the Estate Table, Cake Table, and Highboys, which complemented the light green color palette. 

The Dance Floor: The iconic birch and white checkered dance floor served as the focal point of the ballroom, the perfect spot for the guests to dance the night away.

Custom Bridal Attire
The bride's wedding gown was a showstopper, custom-designed by Britt Wood Designs. The gown featured intricate lace and delicate lily-of-the-valley details. Not to be outdone, the Mother of the Bride wore a magnificent custom-made pink and white gown, also by Britt Wood Designs, ensuring the family's style was deeply personalized and coordinated.

Interactive Entertainment & Culinary Experience
MaryClare had a distinct vision of her guests mingling while enjoying the entire evening. A Strolling Dinner Reception: Rather than a formal seated meal, a strolling dinner reception encouraged guests to mix and socialize. This dinner format featured multiple elegant food stations and a spectacular charcuterie board display that was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

A Night of Music
Entertainment was powered by DJ Matt from Radial Entertainment, who expertly played tunes specifically requested by MaryClare that kept the dance floor full all evening and the energy high! During the pinnacle of the dancing, our team handed out trucker hats to the guests that MaryClare had thoughtfully designed, and they were an instant hit!

Photo Booth Fun

Personalized Details
MaryClare included fun personalized touches to her wedding reception. She had coasters, drink stirrers, matchbooks, coozies, and cocktail napkins designed with their monogram crest.

No matter that they were located out of state during the planning. We were able to provide our expertise, guidance, support, and advice during the process through Zoom meetings and phone calls. We provided a customized checklist that kept MaryClare on track. 

Celebrating their wedding at home with their family and friends was what MaryClare and Matr envisioned. We took their plans and brought them to life for them. The result was an amazing, fun wedding celebration which produced wonderful memories to last a lifetime!
