Libby & Jordan
Possibly the most photographed wedding venue in Atlanta, the
Atlanta History Center
Swan House is a perfect choice!
When Mother of the Bride, Cathy, reached out to Gloria Schulz Events to plan her daughter Libby's wedding, she knew the Atlanta History Center Swan House was the wedding venue choice. However, she didn't know which vendors to trust to bring her daughter's wedding vision to life. That is where we helped her source the vendors who would provide the services and expertise that Cathy was searching for. The history and architecture of the Swan House were important to Cathy. And the design of the wedding was to complement the beautiful, historic home.
Guests were welcomed by a cellist and were served champagne upon their arrival. The ceremony took place on the fountain side of the house with Elite Strings providing a quartet to play the music. The cocktail hour took place on the column side of the house, and Fizzy Truck served signature cocktails as guests enjoyed appetizers from Bold Catering. Guests were then escorted to the Grand Ballroom in the Atlanta History Center.
In the Grand Ballroom, the timeless, elegant, traditional, black-tie wedding design elements included white china, white florals, and an abundance of candlelight. Guests were treated to a seated, plated dinner served by Bold Catering followed by a wedding cake by Cake Envy and then finishing the evening with late-night bites of sliders and fries.
The floral design created by Flowers by Yona included beautiful, large arrangements on the fountain, which were then transported to the ballroom. The table arrangements were stunning, and the crystal candlesticks added a touch of elegance to the tables.
30 Vice Band entertained the guests with a talented group of musicians who kept the dance floor packed all night long!
The newlyweds' grand exit was complete as they drove away in a Mercedes Converatable!

"I think the best part about the process was having
someone as both an expert and a cheerleader to keep saying "this will work, trust the process". And having the tasks spoon-fed over the span of planning so things were never
overwhelming."
