The wedding planning journey:
From California to Georgia!

st. Regis Atlanta Wedding

Arianna and Joseph had their hearts set on an Atlanta celebration, where they would soon relocate and begin their married life together. Planning their destination wedding from across the country was no small feat. Still, the journey back to their roots in Atlanta was a masterclass in intentional design and Southern hospitality. Distance was never an obstacle as they were able to communicate their wedding vision while living their daily lives in Southern California.

The planning process was focused on Zoom meetings and phone calls. And most importantly, very productive trips back to Atlanta to ensure every detail was perfect. In planning the wedding from afar, a design mockup meeting is the single most important appointment to schedule. When Arianna and Joseph visited Sejour Events studio and saw the florals and linens, they were in awe of the beauty of the design! It bridged the gap between Arianna's mood board and reality! This was just a small sneak peek of what was to come on their wedding day! After a few tweaks with the linens and tablescape, the design plan was set!

To make the most of their trip to Atlanta, we scheduled their menu tasting on the same day at The St. Regis. Here, they could taste, savor, and choose the flavors of the dinner that would be served tableside to their guests. Paired with wine and speciality drinks, the couple chose the first course, the entrees, and the desserts.

The night before the wedding, the rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and immediate families was held at The Garden Room, which is adjacent to the St. Regis. A welcome party for all guests was also held at The Garden Room. Sejour Events designed large floral arrangements with a vibrant color palette to complement The Garden Room decor.   A large, clear top tent complete with colorful, fun, cozy furniture where guests could gather and enjoy food and signature beverages from The Garden Room was set on the greenspace outside of the restaurant. It was a great start to kick off the wedding weekend! Arianna and Joseph were able to greet their guests and enjoy themselves as our team managed the night for them.

On the wedding day, guests gathered on the Grand Terrace at the St. Regis for an outdoor ceremony. Where the aisle was lined with "meadows" of flowers—low, organic, lush arrangements that made it feel as though the garden was growing directly out of the terrace. This beautiful pathway led to a stunning grand floral arch at the altar. This beautiful arch framed the couple as they exchanged their vows against the classic backdrop of the St. Regis architecture.

After a cocktail hour in the prefunction area outside of the ballroom, guests entered an enchanted Ballroom surrounded by tall, white, flowering trees. One of the evening’s most talked-about details was the lush greenery and florals that were suspended from the ballroom ceiling, drawing the eyes upward toward the crystal chandeliers and creating a sense of natural grandeur. Sejour Events' elevated design was stunning, and the guests were in awe of the abundance of white florals, greenery, candles, and several white trees "planted" in the ballroom! The result was a warm, inviting, and intimate reception.

From bicoastal planning sessions to a spectacular transformation of the St. Regis, with a vendor dream team, detailed planning, and logistics, we created their memorable wedding weekend that came to life!

"Not only is she unbelievably talented, but she is also such a kind, calming, and supportive person to have by your side during such an emotional time. Her team was just as amazing—attentive, efficient, and truly dedicated to making the day perfect.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and we owe so much of that to her. If you are even considering hiring her—do it. It will be the best decision you make ."
